Special Offer: Glass Courses in Murano
Istituto Venezia in 2010 started a partnership with Abate Zanetti Glass School in Murano.
The school is located in the lovely
island of Murano in a magnificent building from the ’30, an
example of archeological industry perfectly restored.
Weekly
course in glassblowing, fusing and lampworking will be offered up to
June and new courses will be added later on.
The
school teachers are skilled and their personal resumes boast year of
experience in the many Murano and international glass techniques. The
majority of them come from Murano and are descendants of old and
prestigious families of glass masters.
In order to promote the school 's new workshop schedule, Abate Zanetti offered to Istituto Venezia 4 places in the following workshops at a reduced price (50% off).
From 7th to 11th June 2010, from 9 to 12 am and from 1 to 4 pm, Fusing course for beginners.
