Casa Cardinal Piazza
Inside the beautiful Renaissance building of Palazzo Minelli e Contarini, Casa Cardinal Piazza offers a very Venetian atmosphere: simple, bright rooms, all with a private bathroom and a view onto the private garden or the Fondamenta. The residence is also well connected to public transport (vaporetto from Madonna dell'Orto or from Ca' d'Oro) and it is a pleasant 25-minute walk from the school. Included in the price:

The residence has a wide garden, sitting rooms for studying, a lift and restaurant with half-board service.
Evening return within 24.00. The reception is closed from 24:00 to 6:00.

Homestay
It is ideal for those of you who would like to be fully immersed in a different language and if you want to live a culturally enriching experience. You can stay with local residents in a single room with use of kitchen. Usually, the host families are childless couples or single people. To stay with an Italian family is the best way to enjoy our daily life and improve your language skills. You will be free to maintain your habits, respectful of the people who host you. In the house you will find all you need: bed-linen and blankets, washing machine, TV... In addition, you will be given a personal copy of the keys so you can be independent.
Residence Santa Marta in Venice
With Istituto Venezia you can book a room in the brand new Santa Marta residence in Dorsoduro district, Calle Larga Santa Marta 2137, a few minutes walk from our school. Single or double rooms, all with private bathroom and kitchenette, spacious, quiet and with a good natural light, equipped with all the comforts for long or short stays.

The residence offers a common garden, a restaurant and a bar, a gym, conference rooms, several study rooms and a laundry room.
City tax: 1,5 euro per night for the first 5 nights. This tax is not included in the accommodation fee and it is to be paid directly at the Residence.

Rules
Double rooms are available only for the students who enrol together and attend the course in the same period.
You have to notify us of the date and hour of your arrival at least 5 days in advance.
The rooms are available from the Sunday before the beginning of the course to the Saturday morning after the end.
You are not allowed to invite people to sleep without special permission.
You have to pay for the accommodation on the first day of the course.
Smoking is forbidden in all accommodations.

University canteens
If you aren’t good at cooking you can choose among a lot of pizzerias and restaurants, or you can go to the university canteens: they are all near the Istituto Venezia and they offer lunch and dinner at about 7,50 euros and a different menu every day.
